You need JavaScript enabled to view it  The Long Beach Municipal Band, one of the most distinguished and professional municipal bands in America, kicks off its Centennial Concert Season Tues., June 30 in Whaley Park, with the first of 11 concerts under the Charter Communications Long Beach Sea Festival banner set for Thurs., July 2 in Marine Stadium. The free concerts, which run through August 14, begin at 6:30 p.m. Highly-acclaimed conductor Larry Curtis returns for his 16th season at the helm of the best of Southern California’s symphony, studio recording and jazz performers. Combining with talented guest vocalists, the band will highlight a variety of jazz, movie, musical and light classical literature concert themes throughout the summer.
